Method

Follow the below steps to make Potato Rice:

  7. Add garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  8. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pressure cooker. Mix gently.
  9. Add 2 cups of water and mix well.
  10. Cover the pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
  11. Switch off the flame and let the pressure release naturally.
  12. Open the pressure cooker and mix the rice gently.
  13. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  14. Serve hot with raita or any vegetable side dish.

  • You can also add vegetables like carrots, peas, or beans to make it more nutritious.
