- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
- 1 cup of plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 cups of water
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Method
- Start by washing the rice until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for about 30 minutes.

- In a pot, heat some oil and fry the prawns until they turn pink. Remove the prawns from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the tomato paste and fry for a few minutes. Add the yogurt and mix well.
- Add the fried onions to the pot and mix well. Add the cooked prawns to the pot and mix well.
- Layer the prawn mixture over the cooked rice in the rice cooker. Cover the rice cooker and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the biryani is fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
